Return and Refund Policy

This policy explains cancellations and refunds for services supplied by Freshoifauna to consumers in New Zealand. Our services are covered by the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA) where you acquire them as a consumer.
1. Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
Services must be carried out with reasonable care and skill, be fit for a particular purpose you told us about, be completed within a reasonable time when no time is set, and match any description we provide. If we fail a guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy such as refund, partial refund, or re-supply depending on the failure and its seriousness.
Nothing in this policy limits rights you cannot contract out of under the CGA.
2. Digital memberships
- Before substantial use: If you cancel within 14 days of purchase and have not extensively accessed premium libraries, contact us for a refund review.
- After use: Where significant content was streamed, refunds may be limited to unused prepaid periods on a fair pro-rata basis.
- Renewals: Cancel before the next billing date via your account or email. Cancellation stops future charges; it does not automatically refund the current period unless a billing error occurred.
3. Fair Trading Act 1986
We will not mislead you about pricing, discounts, or what is included in a plan. Advertised prices match checkout unless an obvious error is corrected before payment.
4. Studio orientation appointments
Reschedule with at least 48 hours notice at no charge. Late cancellations or no-shows may forfeit the session fee stated at booking.
5. How to request a remedy

- Provide your name, purchase date, plan type, and reason.
- We respond within five business days with eligibility and next steps.
6. Chargebacks and disputes
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback so we can resolve issues promptly. Unjustified chargebacks may affect account access while investigated.
7. Processing refunds
Approved refunds return to the original payment method within 14 business days. Bank processing may add extra time.
8. Business customers
If you acquire services for business purposes, the CGA may not apply. Contract terms agreed in writing prevail.
